  • Rebel Wanderer: Boston

Boston may be covered in snow right now, but after being named the US Olympic Committee’s 2024 Summer Olympic Bid choice nobody can deny that Boston is a hot destination. I had the pleasure of visiting Boston for the first time a year ago for PCMA’s 2014 Convening Leaders and discovered that this historic city has a lot to offer. Boston Common The starting point of the Freedom Trail, Boston Common is the oldest park in the country. The park is almost 50 acres in size. Rebel Wanderer: Louisville

I recently worked a conference in Louisville and I have to say – I love this town! I stayed in a hotel near the convention center and I found that everything from business to eating to entertainment to beautiful vistas were in walking range. The streets were kept clean and the beautiful architecture made me feel like I was in a turn off the nineteenth century movie. Hence my conclusion that Louisville is one of the finest walking towns in the country. Here are some of the great spots that were on my walking trail. Galt House Hotel and Rivue... Read more »
