Making Mobile Count: Using Apps to Extend the Life of Your Event
In recent years, there has been a push towards creating hybrid events–integrating a live, in-person event with digital content. This trend aims to foster year-round engagement, making your event last far beyond the days when you are onsite.
One of the best ways to make your event last is to utilize an event app. Event apps give you one place to keep all of your conference’s content, making your app the number one resource for your event.
But how do you know what to include in your app to keep it relevant all year? Build your app with your attendees in mind and you are sure to create a success. When you consider their goals, you can give your attendees all of the tools that they will need to achieve them.
Attendees want to learn.
Session Question and Answer puts the power into your attendees’ hands. Attendees can type in their questions, and vote for the questions they want to see answered most. Presenters can answer questions during the session, type in answers after the session ends, or both! Providing a way for attendees to ask questions and get answers directly in the app means that education doesn’t need to end when the session does.
Attendees want to connect.
Connections allow your attendees to follow up on the new contacts that they made during your event. Whether they scanned a fellow attendee’s QR code or added the new connection directly from the attendee list, they will be able to see all of the contact information that their fellow attendees chose to share. Give your attendees a way to keep talking, and they’re sure to share all of the best moments from your event.
